Good Evening All

I’ve just upgraded my brake booster and master from original VK Berlina to a VT setup.

The issues I have is the reservoir.

The VT master reservoir is tilted poorly - is there another reservoir that will fit on that will fix this?

Also I have a new master cylinder for the original set up that is slanted for the correct tilt. Will this work?

Any help is greatly appreciated as always.

@gtrboyy you might know this one perhaps?

Cheers

vs or au....cant remember why but think vs reservoir was nicer looking.

Ford have low fluid switch & maybe vs does not so looks neater?

Anyways found it was cheaper/quicker to 2nd hand ford m/cylinders on marketplace than to just buy reservoir & cap new.

Think got 2 ford m/cylinders + boosters $40 pair...hence cheaper price.

Brake line daptors look shite!!!!

The other issue is the retaining hole needs to be re-drilled in the new VS/AU reservoir to correctly locate on the VT master cylinder body.

Agree, every time I open my bonnet on my VK the line adaptors look like dogs balls, but put up with it as it stops now.

I re-flared the lines on my VN when I did it, PITA job to do but looked good in the end.

i got a brand new vu m/c as a spare sitting in a box and compare it to my old vs m/c and have a modified vt-vy m/c fitted which i got off ebay back in 2018 it has a reservoir of a AU falcon so the bolt hole lines up

I used a custom made bracket that corrects the angle so no need to stuff around with reservoirs or redrilling holes.
