ok! im gonna have another stab at this;

so, im totally gonna be wrong, but whatever. total valve lift if 488 and 490 which is kewl enough to run stock springs and not cause any trouble.

and duration is 222 which is a real baby, which in my mind, added with efi shouldnt even lope on idle. so it shouldnt be lumpy at all, smooth as a babys bum.

im not gonna bring up cam timing and wether you installed AM timing gear or not cos' i have proved myself to be a twat with that once before. but just to chuck it in there; is your timing chain set to 0 degrees? or is is stock cos stock is usually retarded a bit. (i been told 2.5 degrees, but no word of fact to that)

oh and stick a vacuume guage on it and give us a rading; i.e betwen 7and 8 and it stutters, or it goes from 8 to 12 but slightly goes up then drops down quickly, or just sits nicely on 11 etc etc etc. itll give us the best idea as to the issue.

nah it seems to idle fine. sits at 1000rpm while idling, but im waiting for my aldl cable so i can adjust the idle screw thing, as i had to tweak that a bit when i was running the cam on a standard tune

timing chain was just set to standard 9 links, something close to this-

meh, stock timing isnt really that much of an issue. it would prolly get quite a kick from running a rollermaster chainset cos they ditch the stock retard and let you run at 0 which wade would have ground the cam for. but i doubt thats your prob.

id like to get a decent vacuum reading to get a better idea, although someone like greanfoam would be more help :( but if its mechainaical i can prolly give my 2. anyways im off to bed for the night.
