Will This Power That?

Hi guys, i just scored a Prolinear PLS12SX 500w 12" sub and was just wondering if this amp from ebay will power it without any problems? If not, what should i be looking for instead?

That amp is 50 bucks. I wouldn't touch it..

Let me just start off by saying, you pay for what you get! So yes that amp would be enough but if your really keen to have a decent sound system, keep looking!!

With a 15A fuse that amp would be lucky to make 150Wrms.

What's the sub rated at? The RMS/continuous rating, not the MAX/PEAK.

i cant actually see anywhere on the box or the sub stating its RMS. I know the amp is cheap, but ill just add that im not looking for hard hitting bass, i just want abit more bass then whar im getting atm. The sub will pretty much be as low as possible, thats my reason for getting a crap quality amp, but if it wont even power the sub properly them i deffinately wont be getting. Hence why i started the thread. Ill just take it to JB or Autobarn and just get them to do it!

It will make sound and if you only have $50 to spend then it'll do. Who knows how long it'll last though
