Results were kind of predetermined. Even though PC gaming has been outgrowing console for the last 8 years, console gamers are still ahead by tens of millions.
I'm a PC gamer through and through but it's expensive by comparison and often requires patience and tinkering. When I did the scary maths, I noted spending nearly $20k on PC's since 2000 to always have an amazing experience.
And grain of salt but this article makes a good point about how that console market has kept the PC gaming market alive with some pretty exceptional ports and general game flooding. With PS4 and XBOX One going x86, the statistics should only get better.
So as much as I'd like to bat my penis as being the master race, I'm not afraid to welcome our console overlords. But seriously, FPS as a thumb monkey, how the fluff do you do that?

Although the biggest selling console is neither of the above. Wii outsells both apparently. No surprise really considering its win win for parents. Kids get off their butts and moving around but they're still occupied lol.

I'm the opposite, I can't use a keyboard. Was looking at the basic one hand controls you team with a mouse but haven't really looked into how well they really work. I probably just need more practice with a keyboard
