Mad, I just bought a vr that hit a 4b the other day. Manual is so much better!
So I will be putting the full manual conversion in my stato =D

Did you run into any problems or was it easy as cause you had a complete donor?

only problems i had were with extractors, just had to buy a set of pacemakers and it was all good.

apart from that there were no major problems. just the normal problems with converting things.

well it seems to be holding up. we will see what happens down the track a bit. its got alot to do with how you treat it to i suppose.

thought i'd post up my latest modification to the car, decided to finally fit the uhf i've had sitting in the shed since i sold my old rodeo.

It's a remote head Uniden UH015sx, and it fits perfectly in the centre console lid. Main unit is hidden underneath the storage area underneath the headunit, and the antenna is stealthily hidden behind the front bar.

Doesn't have as good a range as normal, due to the antenna been mounted horizontally, but its fine for what i'm going to use it for (going on cruises etc.).

Only cost me $34 for the new antenna, had everything else around that i needed to do it.

made up a custom intake pipe today.

made it out of 90mm stormwater pipe. moved the maf up to the throttle body, then had a hell of a time stretching the rubber flexible parts over the pipe. Painted it all up, and installed.

Came up pretty good, looks the part, and seems to run a bit smoother.

First pic is new pipe, second pic is how it looked.

yes l67 with a t5 box.
bellhousing mounting pattern is the same for vn-vy v6's so no probs with mounting it.

wiring you'll have to either modify a l67 harness for reverse light switch and speed sender, or modify your existing harness to go onto the l67, then a tune to suit, but thats the easy part.
