No not correct as MSE has floating discs while SSV Redline does not (though I think the disc diameter and thickness are the same).

But the post you referenced reflects what was written in the Aproval docs I referenced which do seem a little wrong to me but that may be due to service brake option B & option C are not specifie.
Sorry, just meant dimensions...they are a single piece design rotor.

VF Redline Sedan - A6 Spitfire MSE...
I know my spare wheel is exactly the same as the fronts and that there would be an imbalance if placed on one side of rear. My comments about the spare wheel was in relation to the stupidity of the bureaucracy in sympathy to Ron’s plight. And the RMS doc that was linked to earlier where that doc made it clear that one can’t put narrower wheels than what came as standard. I just highlighted the bureaucratic nonsense considering the various wheel combos available for the LS V8’s and as shown in my post above... but maybe the meaasage didn’t come across so well

But, to me it does seem buearocrats do want a dumbed down populace that can be more easily hearded about and follow their absurd rules without complaint o_O
I hear you.

Hey tryg where it the engineer located??

I’m in Brisbane and want to do this mod as well.

Also don’t see the travel as a $400
Expense see it as a time to play with your new brakes and bed them in probably.

Redline VF2 has same brakes as your MSE & Director listing. Not the lower spec.
Hmm, don't think that is correct. The limited editions have different (higher?) spec than the Redlines. Spot the differences...

More than 3kg lighter thanks to its two-piece design with aluminium hat, the floating disc design allows for more consistent brake pedal travel and reduced pad knockback. With cross-holes to vent gases and four piston Brembo calipers in the front and rear of the car.

Rotors is the only difference not braking systems

Yeah it looks like disc& hat are dirrerent.

But I remember some Holden engineering bloke made comments that they had to do some other changes to get the MSE/Director brakes to work correctly... maybe it was just marketing bull dust maybe not. I don’t know and can’t remember where I read it...

Cross drilled to crack quicker under high stress driving...

Just received an email from Holden.

No go without engineering certificate.
SS is not compliant with Brembo brake package due to suspension difference and software differences...

At least I can put this to rest now.
