I'd still wax where I could reach.

I have used the Bowden's Lazy Wax on it tonight. Should be fine it just needs spraying on every two months. Where as the thick wax lasts up to six months.

I've been playing around with the audio in the car- as it turns out, the reasons the tweeters didn't work was because all the wiring was wrapped in bandaid instead of electrical tape.

Replaced the speakers, tweeters and cross overs and installed a bunch of sound deadener from Car Builders.

So impressed with the guys at Car Builders- ordered from them 11pm Wednesday night, all the gear was delivered by 11am Friday morning and installed that arvo. I Had some questions, rang them and got all the info I needed, was great.

Putting the deadener in took the cab noise from 81db on the highway down to 41db just by doing the doors and roof. Don't know how accurate the app on my phone is, but it's a very noticeable difference. That, plus some speakers that now work has made a huge difference to the sound quality.

Yay won best farm ute. Scored a really nice trophy and a pressure washer as prizes, plus some bragging rights. Funny thing was one of the judges is the local police officer.

Today i found out the hard way that the VS V6 tensioner pulley bolt is left hand thread. It made sense why it is after it snapped
