I had to replace my sway bar links and the castor rods around 80k. Genuine holden was cheaper than aftermarket, but not by much. Sway bars are easy, got moog ones from US around $30 each.

this is the third set of tyres in 4 years!!
And this is what I hate about tyre shops! I’ve NEVER had a tyre shop point out worn out components on any car I’ve ever owned! Unfortunately they have a vested interest to see your tyres wear out quicker so they will never tell you when bushings etc are worn (in my experience anyway).

If you want to find out when suspension components are worn unfortunately it means another trip to a mechanic who has a vested interest to tell you what’s farked so they can get paid to replace it!

Too much bullshitting and “not my problem“ shite going on which is why I try and do my own work whenever possible or at least diagnose the problem myself so I’m not paying for shite that doesn’t need to be done just to make a mechanic richer.

SuperPro swaybar links and control arms will be far superior to factory or HSV (if applicable). Noticed the example posted before :)
I am really stoked with their quality and robustness.
My whole car will be SuperPro bushes when I’m finished.

P/S Front control arm lower, both front caster arms, sway bar links L/R, labour = $1850, tyres separate and 4th time in 4-5 years! grrr
I can’t fathom that.

If you've always replaced your Conti's with new Conti's, try another brand of tire.
Continentals aren't renowned for lasting on a big, heavy lump like a HSV...

I checked online and could not find aftermarket non stock for less than $1000 even on ebay...?
I found some sway bar links (SuperPro) for $155 to suit.
