I want more power from my motor but don't want to super charge it or NOS it. Apart from boring the block and putting in oversize valves & porting the head, what can I do?

it really depends on how much more power you want/what your targets are for the car. i.e. 14 sec 1/4 mile etc

As what the others said plus a cold air intake tray & sports type air cleaner

hard to say on a dual fuel setup, but cam, up the compression and a mild port job on the heads, they should already have the big valves. or you can buy my yella terra heads off me so I can get some VN ones... LOL

Can VN heads bolt on with just another manifold and headers? :) Have they got a bigger intake? Are the heads smaller or bigger?

I want to aim for 200 kw.

So far my VK only has extractors... WHOOPY do! haha. I just want more beef especially when I see my friends SS ute do wheel spins at 60 km/hr even though it's a Gen3... but still!

I have been planning to get a new cam, lifters, springs and chain for ages but been too busy. Not too sure about much of a major difference in power using a different cam but a different crank and larger intake sounds like an idea.

Cheers.

TT Supra/HZ Ute.
VN heads with better valve springs, (maybe a mild port) cam (crane 284 or 286 are good) to suit vn heads with new lifters/t.chain/pushrods, torque power manifold, 650 demon, elec fuel pump, new oil pump and maybe a set of thermo fans.

This would be a good setup with a hi stall, gearbox work and 3.5 gears.

I want to aim for 200 kw.

VN heads bolt straight up to a 308 black motor, but you need to get a manifold to suit the VN heads. heads are about the same physical size but the ports etc are alot better for flow and power. will also need rocker covers to suit the VN heads.

200kw is pretty easily achieved if you spend the money in the right spots.
