I'd remove switch and see if power is going to it, if there is power then definitely the switch is faulty.

So months later in October, my mate got it checked out by an Auto Electrician and they tested his Ignition Module. They found it was causing the fluctuating revs.

A faulty Fuel Pressure Regulator can cause excessive cranking. Common problem on VR-VS's. Located at the end of the Fuel Rail. Easy to replace. If it's a slow crank then it could be the Battery,

Remember to refit all return lines. When you remove the hose, the hose can fall back into the tank, make sure to refit it. If you don't refit the return line your motor will struggle to accelerate after you do Right Hand Turns when you have low fuel.

Require more info on problem. Could be Ignition Module, Coil, Hall Effect Sensor (in the dizzy) Check in the same order. Best to do is, if you have a mate with a V8...then simply swap over the Ignition Module and check if it continues. The Ignition Module is a changover part when you buy it...

As mentioned earlier...check for error codes... I've has same problem but checked error codes and found that the Air Temp Sensor was found faulty. Once engine got warm, car would stall and couldn't start until it was cold. So check your error codes.

So it was impossible to remove the trans lines from my Autotrans. I just simply cut it off and will fit hoses to the pipe fitting when I refit the transmission. Only problem is, I need to find a replacement end fitting to fit the trans but don't know what size it is or where to even buy them...

Jump start your car and let it run for few minutes. it will be good after that.

Hard to see in the video but I would give the Trans a Service and replace the Trans Filter. So that means removing the trans pan and draining the fluid. Then see if it continues. Also wouldn't hurt to check the throttle body if it is dirty.

Check your Alternator charge rate using a multimeter.

What does the relearn procedure do exactly? I just don't get why you need to do it and why does the ecu require to relearn it?
