NGK TR6 plugs are a good cheap alternative, just have to change them more often factory leads are fine, or just shop around and get NGK, Bosch, top gun etc. they all make good leads

i think there is a thread already about this, a lot of people having the same problem since the latest update. there is another update soon i think due to issues generally with ios 10.

to get 300rwkw in an auto vx you will need big cam, decent heads, bigger intake and throttle body, upgraded fuel pump OTR decent exhaust and you might get there. also budget for a trans cos that will be spat out, a decent converter, probably driveshafts and a diff also

VCM do a couple of cams that work with the standard stall. as for having to be closer to the power band to run right or else limping along.... absolute rubbish, a set of gears and a proper tune with be fine. just because the power band is higher in rpm does not mean it makes no power below that,

get a NPC clutch mate. they are very good. not heavy underfoot and can handle a lot of power. the heavy duty organic unit it pretty good and can handle up to about 400rwkw from memory

seems very high, that is 2.5 days just to take heads off and on. it is a decent job, but i wouldn't of thought that many hours. a solid day-day and half at best i'd be getting another price from elsewhere, i would expect around the $1500 give or take
