After reading a lot of info from Steve I run 10-60 in my redline ute, not too worried about the warranty side of things. Motor is a lot quieter as would be expected and I do mostly long distance highway driving outback. My tuner also recommended it after I had my tune - OTR - full exhaust fitted

Hi Sarras Yea mate if you do a search on these forums there is a bit of info on the L77 motors and AFM lifter noise, especially the earlier ones, L76 I think. I have read that the AFM lifters have had issues in the past and was supposed to be fixed on our models. Then maybe its just the noise...

Well clocked 1000km now since the oil change and the engine seems quieter but ticking was still there when warm. I drove the car in sports mode for a while the other day and gave it some hard acceleration at higher revs and noticed the tick is now on drivers side and passenger side appears ok...

Just checked mine and bugs and crap on MAF and gap top of filter. Contacted Tuffcarparts and they said they would sort the warranty out and replace filter housing. They just need some pics
