Definately 48, and 92, it was done by auto elect (no choice when your stuck in a car park) but will call them in morning to get them to check it

done my heater tap myself, easy job, make sure you have coolant to top up, but its easy job

i have coolant loss too, took off manifold cover and found leaking from hex head bolt on lower inlet manifold? fluid has leaked all over inlet manifold and trans, maybe same fault you have, take off cover and have a look its only 4 bolts...

Replaced heater tap today as it showed signs of leakage.. after taking off engine cover to bleed radiator i found coolant leakage from torx bolt on top of manifold? looking at engine its on right side under 2nd injector? Ticking is steady noise but goes after about 1-2 minutes, but last time...

My VT V6 overheats to hot then goes back down almost straight away, it has the tick tick tick lifter noise at start up for about a minute then goes away, although i changed oil and used lifter free it returned after 2 months... also hard to start both first thing and 20 or more minutes after...

I haven't had the light come on for a few weeks now... the only thing i have changed is that i'm using the spare key.. the other one had buttons off and weak battery... maybe it was something the do with the immobiliser or something. i also noticed there was a bare wire on the passengers side...

My 96 VS has white mist (no noticeable smell) coming through vents when air con is on, first noticed when raining outside, but now happens regularly. A few drops of water also comes into passenger foot well. Greg

Just tried it, let it go to 5 times, even tried turning ignition on and off about 10 times to see if error would appear. guess i'll just have to wait till whatever it is stays on then check, hopefully it won't be too much.

I have 96 VS 3.8 exec, had problems starting so i took battery out and cleaned up terminals, now the engine fault light comes on every now and then, checked codes and gave a 12 all ok..... if its on and i turn car off and restart it straight away it goes out? :b:

Follow Hako's gromit advise, my 96 vs had same noise and this was eliminated with a quick swipe of grease on this little gromit, tried WD40, works as quick fix but use grease.
