I had the same problem. When i bought my 2013 SS (in Prussian Steel) it was my first V8 so was expecting some amazing sound but got diddly squat.... was not impressed as it sounded very plain. Anyway, i took it to an aftermarket shop here on the coast with some requests. The guy suggested 2.5"...

Please document it.. lol, as id love to have a go myself. The airbag part sounds tricky tho.

Ok thanks... i'm thinking of getting it disconnected (as is does emit sound when the radio is playing) when i upgrade my speakers and add a sub/amp in the boot.

I'm enjoying my park assist... those beeps, lights and signals on the mylink display are a god send... Can anyone tell me why there is a centre speaker on the top of the dash? (above MyLink display) Thanks.

Hi, Is it possible to add 2 more speakers to my VF SS and put them behind the back seats? There seems to be a spot (ive also looked in the boot, looks like a metal panel can come out) where speakers would normally go. I was thinking of taking them to a car stereo shop to get 2 more fitted...

Hi, Does any here live on the East Coast? (Surfers). I would like to give my SS VF some more 'note...' maybe get Cat-Back, 2.5" exhaust and OTR etc. Who on the coast does this sort of thing? My budget is about 3K Thanks! (sorry dont mean to hijack thread but didn't want to start new one)

No i didnt. When i buy a new model car that has big LCD screen you assume it has all the mod-cons... like Sat-Nav. Its a pretty poor show of Holden to be honest! I'll just use my phone like my mates in their 10yo cars do, lol JHP Sat-Nav = $1447 HA! not a chance

I Love my just bought 2013 SS VF with its new fancy dash, nice seats etc.... but no fricken Sat-Nav... WTF?! My fathers Mazda3 has bloody GPS Why did Holden not include something as basic as GPS on a $35k+ SS?! ..... And is there any update/ mod to fix this? Thanks!

Ex cop car ... maybe, I'll never know. Did a VIN check before i bought all good there, nothing owing, no crashes etc... on paper. Picking her up tomorrow. Got me new boot liner, phone jack thingy, floor mats and coffee ready for the morning when i train up to Brisbane to pick her up...
