mine did this also. the way to get around it is when you get on the highway switch to manual mode, knock it back to 5th wait for about 30 seconds then knock it into 6th, should keep AFM off then! and you can drive around shifting manually and the AFM wont kick back in until you swtich back to...

Cant see how it would ruin the Gearbox, Sports shift is there to be used. and it does down shift / up shift automatically even in sports mode when you are going hard, or slowing down and forget to shift.

Anyone had any issues with the OTR intakes and water into the engine? Do they have some sort of water drain hose or does the air filter take care of that? my main concern is following traffic in heavy rain / washing the car etc.

Yeah it would be great to pick up some extra Power and without losing economy. Im not going to be too fussed in the long run if im only losing 1L/100 by deactivating the AFM, Im thinking about ordering the OTR and fitting myself, then taking it to either Jakes or Gentech to get it tuned.
