Hi. Someone told me the other day that if you hook an amp up to the VF factory stereo that the car may go into limp mode because the electronics have been altered. Anyone know if it's true? Cheers.

There's holes in the steel part of the parcel shelf for speakers. They come standard in Calais and V series ss. But the parcel shelf doesn't have the speaker covers. Not sure if you can just cut the covers in or if you need a new shelf from the Calais

Is that 2 subs in a box or 2 in the parcel shelf? If you put them in the shelf, does it vibrate at all?

Gt35/40. 6lbs of boost. The current XR6 Turbo makes 533nm at 1950 but has 90% at 1200rpm. The Skoda Octavia RS has a 2lt turbo making 350 nm at 1500 through to 4500. I drove a manual one once and it was awesome.

How much did the tune set you back and where did you get it done? I want to improve the low down torque delivery of my V6. Cheers.

Yeah. There's not much reason to rev a Barra out to its redline. My wife has a VE SV6 wagon and you certainly need to rev it hard and high. Certainly better power top end than a Ford in line six.

Yeah. Might have to adjust my driving style after 20 years driving big in line sixes.

I owned an XR6 Turbo for almost a decade which made a mountian of torque at only 1900 rpm. Might need to learn how to drive the SV6. Although I will look at doing the exaust from the cat back because they are pretty quiet. Any suggestions other than XForce?
