Yea mate eventually every mechanical thing needs to be replaced hopefully changing them should fix your problem and as far as i know omegas and sv6's are pretty similar except engine,interior, suspension and their body kit is a little bit different (my beother owns an omega and i've a sv6 ute)...

Imo mate when you have to spend anything above 200 bucks for a car it's always good to get a quote from someone else or checked the car by someone else dont mention what needs to be replaced etc. Just get him to have a look it'll cost you $50 say 100 tops but still if you want to trust his words...

Your dealer will try to avoid loosing even a cent on your car so the best would be going to your own mech to find faults. Don't forget thats how dealers make money. At least if you get a paperwork that says this and that needs to be fixed and quote you can get your dealer to do it for free or...
