The device the guy at the door is using is a repeater. They are picking up the signal from the key transmitter and repeating / transmitting it to the guy at the car. Once he had the signal he was in. Im guessing the device saved and stored the frequency for further use and to reprogram another key.

I have the 2016 W375 sedan manual, 5th 6th at 100km/h only a touch of exhaust noise, turn the bi-modal off - only tyre noise.

Reading other post here the cam is around 3.5 - 4k, exhaust system is about the same depending on brand.

Failure to the clear coat starts with something that penetrates the clear, most of the time its bat sh$t that was not removed. Again - a coat that is applied in the microns is not going to stop UV unless it is 100% reflective, then you would be driving around in a mirror.
