would pacemaker exstractors make that much of a diference?

nah just get a second hand exhause and a used pair of extractors for somethgin like $350 out of the trading post that are all rusted. spend an afternoon cleaninf them up and painting them and then fit them or get them fitted. extractors and a peice of piss to fit and exhaust is a bit harder if...

VN SS group A bonnet buldge Yes or No?

i dont really like the buldge too much, the stato itself looks perfect. the VQ's are hot how they are. and especially lowered with tinted windows. maybe the arch flare looks alright but i wouldnt put it on. sort of looks odd not following on to the bumper... but thats my opinion. do...

    G'day

a cam is gonna cost you alot, and think about the price for someone to put it in for you, inlet manifold would probably be easier, not sure of gains involved. them get your carby re tuned Like CraigL304 said i wouldn't bother changing it, just a retune of it. not too sure on the dizzy...

    removing berlina/calais door strips/trims?

not sure if they fit, maybe get them off and see if they match up with a sedan at the wreckers. just an idea, try fishing line, and slice through it. might have to use it like a sa, not sure. i think if you could get one there and power it, a hot air gun would make the job alot easier...

    Knocking VN Calais

whoever said something about oil pressure is probably on the mark if its inconsistant... i'd say you have oil pressure problems. heres a way to find out if its inside the motor. drop the oil, catch it to reuse it whatever you want. go buy some really really thick kmart oil, put it in and...

    tools

yeah you should always have an af set, even a cheap one. comes in handy but you dont really newed a few, like 1/4 - 19mm 3/8 - usually do with a 10 unless tight of a soft grade fastner 9/16 - sometimes do with 15??? but you get what i mean if your a backyader, you dont need the whole AF...

    Trimatic leak- reversing

the oil seal has ribs on it that help push any oil that gets past back into the box, but that only works when in a foreward gear, in reverse it does the opposite, if any oil gets past it spits it out, just do the rear seal $5, should be fine. but if the diff has moved heaps what sometimes...

    HDT cold air intake

i dont know about a one peice pipe, the engine moves and rocks on its mounts and the air box doesnt, i think the silicon is a good idea. also!!! dont drive your car around with the r/cover breather hoses off, it will coat your engine bay in a film of oil... and i'd imagine very annoying to clean

    cambelt

hrmm thats is a bit weird... what do you mean by fluttering, can you describe it in a few words. the first thing that comes to mind is tension but if you think you've got that spot on... maybe, the gear isnt on tight enough, if that rings a bell, dont drive it, if that gear comes off your...

    cleanin caliper for painting

lieos is right, drums heat up much higher and faster than discs in normal driving so if its ok on that then it should be fine on the discs, but do as few coats as possible because the more you do the more likely it will come off, more coats means the more heat can soak into the paint. mark up...

    Anti Boil/Freeze To Much added?

yeah you might need a twin filament globe, it could be closing the parker circuit. it should be alright if its something like 60/40 but you dont want too much coolant because it needs water mixed with it to bring it to its best. if you don't add enough water it wont be long untill the coolant...

    New idea for Just Commodores

yeah i reckon the idea is good, but it'll just be all talk unless someone actually does something about it. i think it would push through easier if there were some stats on cost time and how long it would take. and i'm sure there are a few smarties on here that could help it on its way...

motec fitted, now dramas with t700

yeah i agree with whoever said something about small claims, it only costs you some 20 dollars and you will probably end up getting a bit of money back from the job. then get it fixed up with that money and have some left over. Good luck with it
