I had a new cam fitted by High Torque on the gold coast with a cat back & tune and I came to regret doing the cam. should have just stuck with the exhaust & tune for my daily driver. The cam ended up stuffing out & had to get replaced and its been more difficult to start since.

I've had the single phase Hero hoist for a year or 2 now. mechanically its all great just blown a hydraulic hose and a small electrical issue but the hydraulic pump set up would be fairly generic I recon.

Parts are pretty easy to get still. The 186 has been rebuilt with a bit of a cam, Single Holley carb & extractors but haven't started it yet. :rolleyes:

That one was a 62cc Skopod reed motor. it was like a driving a 5 second drag car on a BMX track LOL. So much fun but not great for racing. Don't tell the missus but that was ended up around $5k. To be honest this hobby probably saved my sanity at the time, so worth every cent.

Is the flow rate standard for an LS3 or something that has to be measured first to match up? I've got no chance of getting it retuned for months.

Yet another injector post, I know but I would like to know which are the best injectors to replace the faulty ones in my LS3 Clubsport if anyone can help? I cant find much info for good replacements. Not interested in chasing the empty shell of Holden service.

Mechanical work has been sorted, Motor rebuilt, aftermarket column & column shift fitted, front & rear windscreens replaced, rust work done. She's been at the auto electricians for 3 months now :mad: nothing I can do but wait.

I sold the '74 Dodge/Barra I personally built to an old guy who claimed it was his forever car and loved it. Real cheap $23k as a favor and to look after the old guy. He gave me the full sob story. 3 months later he's done nothing to it and put it up for sale starting at $50k. I'm very pissed...

HI-Torque "were" very good, but not so much when I used them last. I've had 2 cars tuned there now. I get the impression their tuning is all cut n paste now.

These bombers have actually been in the country for a few months. My son is a comm tech in the RAAF and they had these things surprise them a few times flying over head during an exercise. They had no warning but they were all pretty excited apparently. Living near Amberly we've spotted/heard...
