Sorry my bad, I bought other stuff from Ebay not brake pads. Got the pads fairly cheap from sparesbox so i'll wait until the 13 for them to be shipped instead of cancelling the order, if they give me some BS it will take longer then i'll consider cancelling.

I reckon this should be enforced. Holden should be forced to buy back cars with "piston slap" at their current inflated prices if a customer isn't happy with it. They can then in their own time, rip each engine out, repair it, and re-sell it. No VF LS3 should make this noise regardless.

That sounds worse than mine, at least mine goes away at certain revs while driving, but i think mine is louder at idle. Either way its BS and a terrible noise that ISN'T normal or acceptable.

Yeah it got worse/louder the last 3-4 weeks as the cooler weather hit. Mine is completely consistent, same noise right up until the same temperature then trails off and goes away.
