Anybody want to buy my bilstein B8 plus eibach springs? Only installed in April and done just 5000km. I am going for coil overs. Don’t get me wrong though, the B8 and eibach are unreal in ride and handling. Make an offer.

Don’t even think about just doing springs. Trust me, it’s crap and it will be a waste of money. I have been there done that! These bilsteins feel great. I am very happy. Ride is firmer than stock but in a nice way. Here’s another angle. I am very happy with how it sits, rides and handles.

Bilstein have new shocks out for the VF now. No welding at all is required. That’s why I changed my mind. Plus, not sure I want to stuff around with all those adjustments on coilovers etc.

Actually, I have changed my mind. Going with bilstein shocks and eibach springs (I already own the springs). That will do me and a bit cheaper too. Will post photos when it’s done.

Do we know if these H&R Coilovers are noisy or make squeaks during driving or any brand of coilovers for that matter?

I have decided to go H&R Street performance + coilovers. I don’t want to risk installing bilsteins and eibach and then having that ‘tail heavy’ look. H&R are one of the best out there so the final results should be just fine.

I do agree. You would have to think bilstein is better than pedders shocks. Pedders told me eibach springs are an excellent match for their sports Ryder shocks but I suppose what else would they say! I’d rather match bilstein with eibach and by the way, the pedders shocks are not that much...

This is what mine looked like with Eibach pro kit and stock FE3 struts. Ride was crap and so it’s back to original stock FE3 now. When Holden dealer put back the original springs, they found damaged struts. Those stock struts are not matched to the eibach springs according to holden and I think...

It looks good but the back is lower than the front, at least that’s how it appears and so with say 3 people in the back seat would make it worse. Also, that raked look is lost. But, it still looks good. Thanks for sharing.

No way. Stock FE3 is way smoother than putting lowering springs in with stock FE3 struts. Trust me, don’t do it. It’s crap, at least on a SSV Redline fitted with FE3. If you want to lower, then put in matching sport shocks as well. I am about to do that to my car. Haven’t made a final decision...

What bilsteins did you put in? B8 was it? That is what I am thinking about using with my eibach springs. What’s the ride like compared to stock? Would really appreciate a side on pic if you can share. Cheers
