Yes the commodore is dead and so too probably Holden, but without doubt the vxr is easily the best value for money car on the road currently, it’s a real shame these baby’s won’t be produced anymore.

Hey guys , have topped my vxr up with plenty of oil , but the gauge still says oil at 0% ? Anybody know what the go is with that ? Any help appreciated

Forgot to mention but the engine stop start didn’t seem to work either when the car had that mode enabled ?? Cause for concern or ?? The salesman put it down to the car not being warm enough perhaps haha.

So just agreed and put down a deposit on a vxr 2018 plate. 8000 ks and all seems good. Couldn’t work out the wireless charging though upon test drive ?? Does your phone have to be paired for it to charge ??? Or can anybody chuck there phone in it and it should charge ??

I’m super confused. Some articles state that the commodore is no more this time next year ... and also state the my20 update is available to fleet buyers ??? So are we getting a my20 or not ?

Been watching the movement on carsales everyday for vxrs. Noticing most that were adevertised low 40 thousand drive away , have shot back up to high 40s early 50s.. must be selling a lot of units now perhaps since pricing has come right back ?

It’s insane the price difference between a demo with 13 thousand k on the clock , and one with 3000 k...$10k difference , same 2018 Build aswell. Trying to get it down from $51k to very low 40s, salesman blatantly refusing

Almost ready to bite the bullet and purchase a vxr, waiting till the end of the year run outs .. in Australia there are so many untouched 2018 plated vxrs on car sales advertised at $63000, realistically, would I be waisting my time trying to get one down to $40000? You make a good point and I agree mostly. A used RSV is a steal , it’s basically a vxr minus a few bits and pieces, but just doesn’t look as premium I guess and that’s what is putting me off , knowing a vxr in 6 Months time will probably be at second hand rsv prices now..

car sales seem to have very thin stock of used / demo vxrs in Victoria in either black / grey. Has anybody have experience getting a red hot deal on a new car price?? Looking at spending $40k max,which is achievable through used car dealer , but frustrating there’s barely many out there
