Do the connectors from the seats (current and replacement) looks the same. Have you checked to see if anything is fouling the connector on the replacement seat?

I am out of ideas. You will need to post pictures of all the connectors so someone can help.

Not telling you to suck eggs but are you fitting the connector the right way? When the connectors are fitted the cable on the connector need to be on the front side.

The connectors for both front seats in my SV6 are the same. The height adjustment on the drivers side is the only thing that is powered.
