G'day, I've had a poke around but can't find this elsewhere, so thought I'd start a new thread. I have a VY S ute, no passenger side airbag, drivers only. Just wondering how much space is behind the unused airbag cover on the passengers side of the dash and how to access this space?

Ha ha, yep, those hinge clips snap real easy, I did one of mine in too. Cost me 2 bucks from a wrecker for a new one so no big issue. Straightened the glovebox up nicely though.

Ha ha, yeah the bar isn't bad, bit smaller than it was sposed to be, they stuffed up and made it outta 65mm strap instead of 80mm, but it's still okay I guess. Pretty low, case out on all sorts of things, gotta be careful pulling up against most kerbs, but I bet there's plenty of worse ones out...

I have a genuine Holden trayliner, taken from my VY ute, no longer required. It's the full plastic tubliner, complete with tailgate piece and all screws etc. Will sell for $200.

Hmmm, just found out what caused it (but doesn't help me explain why it does it!!) I put a UHF radio in the ute last week, connected it to the cigarette lighter plug wiring for power. Now if I have the CB turned off, when I turn the ute off and open the door, the radio doesn't turn off. However...

Is the sagging glovebox covered under warranty as mine does it too. So the only fix is to replace the glovebox lid? Bugger!

Mine has started playing up on the weekend, the radio off when you open the door feature has decided to stop working, which is quite annoying! At first I thought perhaps it was a sticky switch on the door sensor, but the interior light is turning on and of no problems at all. It used to work...
