I wanna change my exhaust so i have twin pipes coming out the back like a monaro and to do this the safest way is to put the tank in the boot like the monaros....Otherwise i gotta get a custom tank made and i dare say that would be more expensive, well thats what ive been told anyways.

Easy as removing each wheel and taping up what ever you dont want paint on eg: disc, brake line ...then you can degrease the calliper and hose off then let dry and just spray high temp pant straight on...

Sadly I'm from Newcastle, and we don't have a huge selection of mechanics that do this kinda work on LS1 with the reputation of some of the other mechanics in other states..I might even consider putting it on a trailer and going out of state but first i would need to know what the initial cost...

All i can say is biiiiig job you got there, if it was me i would either consider a new sun roof that fits properly or get a whole new shell and start from scratch..

Yea if you go ahead and do it this way it would be cheaper then buying a whole new deck but you will lose sound quality..

Well i spoke to the guy who took em off the VZ and he says they are Corvette C6 calipers and today when i removed my old ones i measured both sets of pistons, both are 40mm in dia...anyway tomorrow I'm fitting the rears and ill let you guys know how everything goes..

I was considering getting the HSV brakes upgrade but i have been reading that the callipers sometimes crack between the two pistons and the discs also warp, anyone else heard of this happening with the upgraded brakes? Would i be better going with some other brand of brakes?
