it happens after i turn, but i think its my diff, i have a bad knock after 30 minutes of driving :S

no its not, if its a v6 there is a bleeder screw at the top of the radiator near the battery, open the bleeder and listen for any sounds, take the coolant filler cap off, turn your heater to full and low fan speed with no AC and start the car and let it heat up until the thermostat opens. then...

Find a better mechanic, a "misfire" in the alloytec could be a few things. ECU/M coils o2 sensors coilpacks spark plugs oil pressure sensor

sounds like a torque convertor dying, mine had the same thing, a service for the trans isnt much and they will diagnose the car at the same time.

i had to get my tcm programmed by holden, but it doesnt need to be linked to the ecm/ecu from memory

hey mate, is it a v6 or v8? if its v6, there is a small pipe on the back of the motor drivers side that may not be connected,

hey mate, it sounds like whoever is diagnosing this is not sure what they are doing. O2 sensors on a alloytec are common, if you have the 175kw motor you only have 2 if you the the 190kw motor you have 4. which one is it saying each time?

hey mate had the same issue, had a TCM error - replaced trans computer but it was too late, box was stuffed along with converter :(

hey mate, easier if you start your own thread, but you've changed your spark plugs and o2 sensors - next on the list would be the coilpacks then id start looking at other sensors

hey mate id change the solenoid as the above stated but if you get random surging like that it could either be the tps or the bcm edit: also, have you replaced the oil pressure switch it can cause a rough idle and is located at the bottom of the oil filter container

hey mate, a quick google of the part number and the first car that came up for it was an alfa romeo :|. i always buy my plugs for my vz off a guy of ebay - AC delco iridium ones to suit 190kw motor scrap that- bosch site says it first vz v6;

Hi Guys have a 2006 sv6 and when i have the fan on without the AC, the air is always warm, even if, the outside temp is 10 degrees, any ideas? did a search and couldnt find much, the only thing i could think of was my engine seems to run hotter than normal and ill be replacing some cooling parts...

ive also used the 10-40w penrite for 200,000kms my vz is nearing 300,000kms and havent had many issues,

hey mate, VZ v6 water pumps can go but you wont find a leak, they just stop flowing water - very common to go, also, you dont fill water from the overflow bottle on a v6.

hopefully i can borrow a mates scan tool, got quoted $150 to do it

Hey Harrop, no code is thrown and it doesnt go into limphome mode either. i thought about it this morning and a search points towards a solenoid has gone in the trans, but no one is open the next few days to fix it :(

hey mate, its a 5spd, so no dipstick, will try and service it tomorrow and see how it goes,

so, the car is slipping out of gear i think. engine just revs nothing moves. turn car off and on again and it engages and works. any ideas?? trans serviced every 30k

hey guys, id buy bilstein but they dont come in a full leg. I currently have fe2 (sv6) but im at 270k and 3 out of 4 shocks are stuffed, so im looking to replace, i bought lovell springs but am leaning more towards the kyb or if anyone has any other suggestions,

can anyone recommend shocks for a vz sedan, i have tried to find a price on a few different brands but they are just inserts not the whole leg. so i could go monroe or kyb, any other suggestions

hey mate, is this a v6 or v8? i would check the wiring loom coming off of the coil pack on cylinder one, it could be damaged

how many kms are on your car? they should be changed every 120-150k kms, and depending on your car there may be 2 or 4 sensors and also if a new part was fitted some of the crap on the exhaust can apparently cause issues with the sensors
