Go get a standard SS exhaust system... Will give a very slight note & is still factory, u will need to get a Calais bumper infill panel & a hanger for the LHR muffler

If the head is cracked it will need to be welded or replaced.... Any head shop can supply a VRS set for a RB30 & 99% of kits do turbo & non turbo as the gaskets are all the same besides the plenum gasket....

You'll find it will be a bad earth to the gauge in the cluster... Its a common problem, there is a thread on CalaisTurbo.com.au about how to fix it...

I paid 4k for mine 12 months ago (96k, 1 owner, log books) and i think that was reasonable, but now i have turbod it properly with all the right gear and because its a convert its still only work 4k lol.... I love my VL & wouldnt be interested in selling it anyways but thats just the going trend...

Done many of these, vanes are all good to reuse as long as there not bent, i fitted half of the vanes (every 2nd 1) for a customer once as they wanted more feel in the steering with good results also....

Holden's pellets are a charcoal based substance and are not used at all anymore.... I had this oily problem with my first VT (and 100's of customers cars) and it was the trans cooler in the radiator 100%.... Its not engine oil because cooling system pressure is greater than the crank case...

Looks the goods, almost the same as mine.... I got sl's in the front and ssl;s in the rear and my wife drives the kids to school and to work every day with no trouble.... BTW looks like a S1 with the amber indicators on the side & rear, S2's only came with the clear indicators

Only difference is one uses an o-ring to seal and the other uses a gasket.... but other that that the are sized the same, and the IAC as far as i know they work the same 1 just has a shield over the spring and the other doesn't....

Just get a standard exhaust and chuck it on, saves the hassle in the end....

Pull the tray off it is easier than dropping the diff, just mind the wiring for the lights n **** cos if you forget it and try to lift the tray off it will damage the wiring harness

No they are a 3 speed with an over drive or 4th.... The lock up is just in the converter and not a gear.... Id say the speed sensor could be an issue with the OD not working.... And id say your cold start has failed thats why is **** on start up, i have removed my cold start and have the same...

And bike riders CHOOSE to ride there bikes on the road also....

All the work to pull the timing case off to have a look & didnt change the chains.... it takes 3 hours to strip it down & 10 mins to change the chains.... Sounds abit suss, Holden will do good will but for a car that age it would have to have low kms & always serviced on time at a Holden...

The bigger t/b will be the issue as its letting more air in so the signal from the AFM & TPS are different and there for stuffing up the shift points because the box uses them inputs to work out shift points

There is a plug in replacement from Holden, there a bit of a pain but u gotta just get your fingers between the plastic and he window n pull it down, i think the light strip has a screw holding it in but not sure, its been a while since iv done 1

Had SS mufflers on my sv6 and there was a noticeable difference gave it abit if tone but not to loud at all and I didn't notice any drone

Just get springs.... If you wanna do it on the cheap dont worry about shocks.... My car is on ultra lows with the standard shocks & its absolutly fine
