Its a 300watt pioneer amp... 2 channel... I pulled it out my work car, a EB falcon and it was working fine... then i wired it up to my commodore and nothing, so i put it back into the ford and it works... i have used the same headunit and all but it wont turn on... it has a red light which comes...

I have sanded all the paint off under the seat and attatched it to the metal but still nothing...

I used about 3 diffrent types of wires to run from the System control to the back of the headunit and it still wont run... I have again set it up in the old car and it works fine but it wont work at all in the commy ??

Yea i agree with sweefu mate... go splits in the front, some basic coaxils in the rear run off a good 4 way amp, and a mono amp running a sub or two...

just buy the trading post mate... i paid $5300 for my VT executive series 2... had 154 on the clock.... excellent condition. just look around and you will find the perfect car

haha no mate. haha sorry to burst your bubble but you wont get **** for that much... haha I recently bout Alpine type-S speakers for my VT and that set me back $400. Now that is still relatively cheap... I think you should save up for a bit longer buddy. haha

yup, i have found that buying a decent monoblock amp for the sub is the wayy to go.

My commodore did that to me for about 3 weeks mate. The problem was the starter motor!

All done mate :D found it a breeze. I was just looking up Amps ounce again and come up with a clarion 2-way amp, and a fusion 2-way amp. they are both identical outputs and maxx watt and there isnt much price between them.... which would you prefer ??

What colour are you spraying the car ??

I did the rear doors today and found it a breeze, i just cut the back of the pod off so the magnet wouldnt hit it.... just waiting on an amp for the fronts before i install them. So you recon that the amp will be the hardest to install ??

ohh yup rito. Yea i have another set of Type S speakers for the rear doors but have been advised they will be fine running off the headunit. How did you go about the pods ?? I was advised that it can be done with some 6 1/2 spacers but am not sure how to connect the to the doors ??
