Thank you all for your comments, I apologize for my belated reply. There is no slack in the timing gear (all new) however dizzy is old and tired. I'm having to hunt the problem down between the ECU, dizzy, ignition module, coil and leads. *Sigh* Least expensive thing replaced first.

Dan, no worries mate. Its faily simple. Just be careful of the plastic stereo surround. The edges can break. I wish i had a dollar I found the previous owner broke one. (yes i've been through a few part cars.) :D

Shifts fine (as in normal) when Hot, new Oil. Old oil wasn't too bad (not burnt). Shifts are a little rough when cold, when she decides to shift out of 1st. The seals as in... clutch packs/etc? Thanks mate

Turns out it was the exhaust banging on the rear anti-swaybar link. This only happened again in overdrive and under load at low rev's. ahem. Torque Much? I'm suspecting that my engine mounts are funked. Thanks guys for your help it getting this soughed!
