I removed the gearbox replaced the clutch fork rubbers and put a new thrust bearing in it i drove it yesterday for about an hour without a clutch burn smell around town went on a 70km trip and i got there and the outside of the car reeked of clutch? wtf? does something need to be adjusted? ifso...

I had this problem., go to supercheap. but the stanley 150mm gear puller. get a short 1/2 inch extenion bar and slide it into the thread where your harmonic balancer bolt goes. then turn away and off mine popped!

HA! ive owned my vs for 2 years and replaced every cooling peice that i can. hoses. about 4 or 5 thermostats. radiator. radiator cap all hoses to overflow bottle both coolant temp sensors just incase. replaced the gauge. heater hoses. heater tap. u name it...ive changd it and it still does it.

just went to nbs the local brake and clutch supplyer. vs commodore sedan uses 2 types of abs system. and 2 types of brake booster and master cyl combos. so rare (eg. the one i have) when u ask for a vs brakebooster and or master cyl anywere they give u the plastic booster and the 3 line master...

I put new pads in the VS today . Now when i hit the brakes i hear like a "click" noise.....very loud when depress the brake fully if i push the pedal slowly i get the same click out of the master cylinder/brakebooster. when i push hard, soft, fast or slow i get the same click same loudness...

Im just toying with an idea here. if i had warp in the fly wheel. wouldnt it shudder all the time??? having a warped endaged fly wheel. wouldnt that send the shudder down the line the whole time of the unblanancing caused?

Didnt heat nothing else but the bolt for about 5 second.

Tried a 1/2 inch rattle gun. on a 100l 5hp air compressor....FAIL. Tried to use a breaker bar Fail. bend my sidchrome breaker bar when i cranked the engine. its that tight....any ideas?

seems to have less pull also......running fine no area codes. not popping and farting just boot it and the shudder seems to soak up the power till u get into higher revs. if i the clutch out without using accellerator and let it roll it will shudder slow. soon as i plant it its shuddering hard...
