Have you checked for any vacuum leaks? Have you tried swapping the coil packs over with a known working one? Is it using coolant? Might pay to get a pressure test done, rule out a cracked head(s) and/or inlet manifold gasket.

I didn't think WH had limp mode? Mate said if the ABS Module is packing it in, it throws up the ABS, TRAC OFF & LOW TRAC Lights... Best bet would be to drive it around, try get the fault to come on, and get it to someone with the Diagnostic Tool to check it. Just don't turn the car off, leave...

Could be strut top bearings? Mine **** themselves as soon as I lowered it. Kinda sounds like the spring is moving/has play in the strut.

Could be rear seal where the tailshaft connects, or maybe the sump gasket has cracked/split at the rear?

Take it to any half decent mechanics. I reckon its your discs that are slightly warped from what you have said. Apparantly if a disc is .3-.4 of a mm out, you'll feel it through the wheel under normal braking!

What motor is it? Mine was a LS1, and it would also start to overheat, loss of power & shocking fuel economy.

Definatly your Gain setting on the amp, or Sub Gain on the H/U if it has it. There is a YouTube clip on how to correctly work out the Gain needed, and how too measure it using a multi-meter. I'll try find it...

I had the exact same problem on my WH. Was told to replace the o2 Sensors on the exhaust. Solved it straight away!

Run a bottle of Lifter Free, do some k's - I wouldnt do more than 50 k's myself, then dump the oil. If there is/was a build up of gunk, it will mostlikely end up in the sump, and eventually back up top!

Never go with a thicker oil to stop one problem. It may be a "temporary fix", but eventually you will damage something else too, and the original problem will come back, probably even worse!
