    Quick way to test the key is to hit the unkock button a few times when it wont start, if it fires after hitting the button, generally indicates low battery. Having said that doesnt explain why it dies after starting.

    Does it shake and run like crap in neutral or not? That would eliminate the driveline if it does. If it still runs like crap either way it could be the fuel pump on the way out. I had this happen on a vt v6, it would lose power, shake and run awful then come good again until it finally died.

    Austone 235-45-17 Athena SP-7 The bloke I bought it off had just put them on before I picked it up. Its got kings lowered springs in it and a **** load of negative camber so its not as if the tyre has full contact when in a straight line.

    Will check the hose! Just to note there is no coolant loss, just the gurgling noise in the dash when accelerating, and the black oily gunk in under the cap. No milky oil in the motor or tranny either. Maybe I should run another flush through it? Thanks again everyone
