yes they do have to be the same series because i have a series 2 cluster in my series 1 and the fuel guage reads backwards. Can anyone confirm that simply changing the fuel guage sender to a series 2 will rectify this problem?

they are different lengths mate vt etc are longer than the narrower vr/vs models

i lost 7 points and got the option to walk 4 3 months or 1 point 4 12 months . My mate also got the same option and he lost 6 i think.

Also another point is, its much easier to upgrade to a leather interior rather than getting a sunroof down the track if u decide you want both :-)

An auto from the vt ls1 will fit into vx vy etc and vise versa.

Let me know how ya go with finding info etc as it would really neatin up the engine bay. The easiest way would be to park your car next to a vz and compare :-)

It may be possible to use a vz ls1 radiator as they do not use the overflow in the engine bay like the earlier ls commodores. I have thought about this before but have not been able to find any info on it. just a suggestion :)

Did the seats come out of a crashed car? Because when i put my leather seats in my vt the air bag light stays on because the car i got them out of them had been in a crash and pulled the pretensioner. To fix this problem apparently i have to replace the pretensioner and clear the fault code...

my vt ls1 has the exact same problem. it seems too help if i take the key out lock and unlock the doors it usually fires straight away... any help would be fantastic as this is such a pain and very frustrating!!!

haha well i have actually been in a charged and cammed vx ss ls1. That was an experiance, around 375rwkw. Frying 20's in top gear is no hassle haha

Lookin at about $4-$5 grand too get set up with a cam probably around $10g minimum too charge it and get decent power.

this is true with around 300 atw and a good set of slicks i would be hoping for mid to high 11s. Would you agree? As for the lobe separation im not too sure those specs are all it says on the website.

definently get an l67 from the start. Its alot of stuffing around converting an n/a 6 to s/c

lc or lj torana springs fit and will SLAM it! Will definently not be legal height tho. 4 the front go SSl kings.

you can swap the tailshaft mount on the front of the diff from vt to vx vy etc by undoing the nut on the front of the diff.

I have not fitted one that wide but i was looking through tyre catalogues at work and that was the widest tyre i could find approved to fit on a 7 inch rim. and yes it was 245/60/15.

I would say 245 is the widest you could go.

Only a diff from vt series 2 backwards will fit. Anything newer has a different pinion, unless you want too change tail shafts aswell.

Yes thats correct lj torana and some bmw springs do fit. I know from experiance that torana springs will sit extremely low, eg about 30mm higher than no springs at all. Not sure about the bmw springs tho. You will chew through tyres about once a week with about 5 degrees of camber on rear

yes 60 and 70 series tyres will both fit. But why would you change away from the 205/ 65 /15?

I had similair problem on my gen3 it was the coolant temp sensor.

I have had ultra lows with 225's and it scrubbed on the outside edge guard lip. made a terrible noise when turning into parks etc...
