Would pay to prime the oil pump up as well after sitting for that long it could be dry and may not pick any oil up from the sump

Looks like its tank out time then. When I did mine the original pump is superseded but a new style and you have to get a new 2nd sender unit, harness and pipe as well as the pump.

There still a pain having to jack the car up to get under and adjust them

I still suggest getting a workshop manual and go through it. The manual will tell you everything to check and where it is before pulling the tank out. But it sounds like the pump it dead.

What brand are they? With pedders you have to drill a hole in the strut top and the adjuster sits out through the hole but you have to get under the car or pull a wheel off to get to it its a bit of a pain

Playing with different fuels will be a lot harder then bolting a turbo and tuning it. Changing fuels is not as easy as draining the old fuel out and put different fuel in, Carby, fuel system and tune will changed to suit each fuel. As well as all the research for each set up you will need.

The only way you will get any benefits with methanol in drag racing is with high compression That and methanol engines take a bit of work if you want to look after it

Iv got Mickey thompson ATZ's on my hilux and can't fault them. I don't do much mud driving with them but in the sand and general off roading they are great iv even had them down to 10psi in the sand with no dramas and they bagged out nice for the extra foot print.

I'd say it was run in second gear cause the speed is only 114kph that's why the torque is so high, mine was dynoed at 278kw at the rears with 650nm speed was 198kph

I dont think anyone makes a full or mini spool for the VE diff I could be wrong but. A spool is still the same as welding the star gears in the diff not the best for on the street.
