hey guys today hopefully ill get around to fitting my new VCM otr that i brought. just wondering what tools will i need, 10mm socket and ratchet, flat head screwdriver, pliers. anything else? also should i cut my hood seal or not? cheers

yeah id like to know this also, i brought a vcm otr friday. and havent fitted it yet, due to a fractured femur :( not nice.. but yeah did u fit it yourself?

okay, i just changed the speakers, and to be honest, it doesnt sound as deep/good as the old ones... all i did was disconnect the old wires, cut and put crimps on, and then plugged into the new speaker. ?

how come i have to remove factory crossover? cant i just unplug the old one, and plug the wire straight into the back of the new one mate? it all sounds to hard hahaha. im not after crazy sound, just tiny tiny bit better, so yeah ....

will 6.5" be a straight swap over mate? i found some 6.5" phillips 400w, will they be a straight swap with out going through crossovers ect?

whats the diff between a full overhaul and intermediate with fluid? dont they drain the whole lot?

yeah thats what i was thinking, 250rwkw is high... has ANYONE had any problems with there VCM OTR's, with dust or water ect? like if its pissing down raining, can any drops get through into the pod filter?

nah mate theres a few brands thaat you can leave the MAF in. VCM otr's are really good from what i hear. thats what im getting for mine, and they cost about $600 ish

250rwkw? serious...? thats crazy just for a tune and intake. im going to get the VCM otr intake and MAFtune, see how i go with that! also, wouldnt your mates car sounds weak, the stock exhaust sounds so weak

wow really, 1500 ####! haha how was it **** ? and they recommened MAF instead, because sometimes mafless can start to play up over time and retunes are more likely needed

oh and also, i had a quote on getting all that fitted then tuned MAF tune, also they said they'd tune the box for sharper shifts, and engine response. $1000 they said hows that too? answer all Q's thankss
