l67 conversion

I've got a donor WH stato L67 AUTO, and a mint MANUAL VU Ute can i swap the drive train out of the Stato into the Ute and use the Stato's ECU and BCM and plug it up into the Ute, or would it be easier to top swap the Ute, so I don't have to mirror balance the fly wheel??? cheers

So I've brought a l67 swapped vs series 1 commodore with rebuilt t5 and button clutch. It has a few issues it has a sticky throttle pedal, bonnet release spring needs replacing (already brought it), needs a respray and a better free flowing exhaust which I'll be getting in the next few weeks...

What’s the go every ones says you must get fly wheel mirror balanced to flex plate why would you keep flex plate if your going manual it makes no sense do people mean you have to get the fly wheel balanced the same as the flex plate or what ??
