You're going to loose power with 2.5" unless you are pushing some decent power through it. I'm running a supercharger and I'm still running twin 2.25".

Stay standard and just put SS or HSV mufflers on the rear! Just a slight note, no drone and save a tone of $$$

Completely Lost

I have xforce 2.25 inch mild steel catback on my sidi ute
I find it a nice note and all my nates love the sound
Quiet at idle no drone when cruising

i've had SS mufflers and currently have HSV mufflers and they both drone and the slight note is far from special. Trying to get my hands on AFM SS mufflers to sort it out

Completely Lost

You won't really get drone in a ute mate. I had an Xforce Mild Steel 2 1/4" on my SV6 (not SIDI). Sounded pretty good, heaps of positive comments from other SV6 owners.
Prior to the Xforce I had Maloo Rears and then Straight pipes.
I still have the maloo rears at home if your near brissy

i still have not bought it im like sitting on it lol i dont want xforce herd there cheap and fall apart so im staying with well known brands. how ever the link i posted below sounds good for a 6 thats enough to convince me

Hey mate that's my car. Yeah it's an Xforce 2.5" catback. Got the rest of the exhaust done and will post another video when I get it back.

did you notice any power loss in the low end

Not really. Only cruised around when I got it done then got a tune after a few weeks so couldn't really tell. Catback is more or less just for sound, if you want power then get and OTR like I did and a tune.
