1995 VS Speed limted?

My vs goes from 100kmh to 200kmh in 3rd in about 6/7 seconds 2 gears left i dont see why it couldnt do 250kmh? v6 5spd chip touqre chip . headers. exaust, cold air

I wish my VN 5.0 was this quick Greenfoam has some questions to answer now as to why my car is so slow...

Well I have my flame suit on nice and snug so here we go!!!!!!

My manual VS V6 can quite happily do just on 220KPH down the back straight at Queensland Raceway.
The car is still accelerating at that speed and I still have another gear to go and no this is not a joke.

How accurate is your speedo?

A 10% error is 10kph@100kph but 20kph@200kph.

well just to point out your car apprantley has a l67 and it seems it is not just a standerd one as your sig said it has 353rwhp that is around 350kw at the fly wheel that has more power then my bosses monaro which i quoted eairlyer in this thread to be speed tested by holden to 278kmh and they come with 3.7:1 diff gears and the t56 trans with 297kwfly

so this is why your car would be going that fast

According to the dyno I use the speedo is accurate to within 3KPH at 215KPH
Seeing that the car is still accelerating in 5th and I still have another gear to go I would say with a longer straight it will happily go faster than that.
How much faster is another question.

Id be spewin if i bought a L67 and it didnt go to at least 220,especially seeing a standard V6 just gets to around 200.

220 is easy, the hard part is doing it on a short straight and then slowing down to take a 70KPH corner.

sounds like you need some better brakes and tyres
