Don't loctite it, it could ooze onto the crank snout and that will make it hard to get off next time. Just use a new bolt.

okay cheers, do you know if it comes with a new bolt or will i have to buy a new one? saw someone say something about using a longer one cause the stock one only grabs it by a couple threads

Don't know much about the V6, but on a V8 it's safest to use the install tool. If you don't you can damage the crank snout threads.
Sounds like V6 might be similar? @Fu Manchu would know for sure.

If you get a piece of threaded rod and a nut and washer you can avoid any damage to the threads.
Grind a couple of flats on the rod then thread the rod in all the way then put the washer and nut on and holding the flats do the nut up.
Very simple to do and use that method for a lot of similar things on motorbikes.

No I only sleep 4 to 5 hours a day and I don't grind at 4am :D
Cockatoos and Magpies make more noise than a grinder anyway o_O
