- 2002 VY Acclaim Commodore Wagon
Hi! First time poster here.
I've got a 2002 VY Acclaim wagon auto that I'm looking to engine swap to a LS1 and I was looking for some advice on where to start.
My plan was to buy a refurbed long engine and a v8 statesman/something similar parts car.
I know I will need to get an engineer on board for mod plate. Unsure if I will need to upgrade brakes, etc to handle the more powerful engine.
Any and all advice welcome but save the 'not worth it' ****, this car has meaning to me and I want to rebuild this specific car. Thanks.
