Vy Calais supercharged
When driving my car either on gas or petrol the dash comes up saying INCORRECT fuel gauge contact your dealer, but when I put the brakes on it stops for a while. I need my car for work. Can anyone help me out please! An would it be safe to use still?

Sounds like the float in the tank and reader especially since it changes with brakes are applied.
My VY does this if the tank is brimmed. And yes its fine to drive, just annoying with the beeping alerts and error message.
So long as I don't brim the tank its never an issue.
But you will be up for a new fuel pump and reader assembly. Run the tank down low so it can be replaced more easily.
