Hey Team,

Does anyone know why my 2005 VZ with 363kms is coughing ever now and then around the 90kph mark. Spark plugs replaced at least 6 years ago.
Any info much appreciated.

Get the plugs out. Check them.

Clean in intake plenum.
Clean the throttle body.
Clean the MAF sensor.
Modify the PCV as per the thread and then clean out all the PCV hoses (Blow them through with what ever you can and get them dry again.)

Make sure the various earth points on the block, battery and the body are free of corrosion across their contact surfaces.

Test the resistance on the coils.

Check the accessory pulleys. One or two maybe worn causing a vibration creating a miss. You need to remove the drive belt first. Check for play, noise or binding pulleys.

Exactly what @Fu Manchu mentioned,

Also check the connections to the coils, injectors,
and especially the coil/injector connector at the back left under the upper intake manifold.
A good form of cleaning is Contact Cleaner.
