So latest news is:

- Spoke has been replaced
- While the wheel was off I cleaned and greases
- Aligned the front caliper
- Finally sorted out the brake drag on the back
- Eased the pre tension on the spring and lowered the SPV pressure as I was only getting around 20% sag and I need around 30%

All ready for this Saturday of riding.

Great day at Lysterfield today. I was supposed to head down with Ari but he grew a vagina and didn't come out.

Really nice day for it, though I put my seat back a bit far so my rear wheel kept catching on it. Caused me to go off 3 times on follow me and only be 138th placed for that segment on Strava.

Next weekend should see an improvement.

so the 2013/14 VDHS events have been released.
youde better be going there with me (except 1st round)
especially since your bike is a proper DH bike afterall

Round 1: 12th / 13th October – Shepparton
Round 2: 9th / 10th November – Granton
Round 3: 14th / 15th December – Narbethong
Round 4: 25th / 26th January – Mt Baw Baw
Round 5: 1st / 2nd March – Maldon
Round 6: 22nd / 23rd March – Bright

that is all on that front.

another to look out for is the You Yangs Cressy Decent race in about September, your bike may be slight overkill but itll still be fun. youll enjoy it.

Yeah man, my people will call your people in regards to the VDHS thing.

Went out riding at Lysty today again and tried Aneurysm for a change. I enjoyed it because the jumps are more technical than Follow Me, but there is a **** tonne more pedalling which killed me.

In regards to Kinglake, talk to Ari.

We are planning on going riding next weekend on the Sat, so the 27th. At the moment looking like YY's but I'm easy either way.

If not next weekend, then I would be keen to fit Kinglake the weekend after if you are free?

I still suggest kinglake for your bike.
from my experience it was very fun.
only 1 very small rock garden otherwise its possible to go very fast and what not.
only downside: the walk up
