Hey guys, I went to change diff oil on my 2010 sv6 and didn’t realise it had lsd 3.27 diff. I bought it from yard and just assumed it was standard. Just want a heads up on best oil for it and where the drain and filler holes are. Thanks

Holdens LSD oil should be ok..

Just make sure you always remove filler plug before removing drain plug. There is nothing worse or as frustrating as draining some component and then not being able to fill it up because the filler plug is stuck (and you can’t get it off)…

As for where things the plugs are, check the workshop manuals I’ve link in your other gearbox thread ;)

Penrite 80/140 GL5 full syn is what you want. Drain and filler plugs are on the side. You will need an inhex socket to get them out.
