ive used well not sure on numbers but my oil was 3/4 full of the dipstick and after 5000km it was on the half way line but i do drive hard revving up to 6500-7000rpm lol thats when some dick trys to overtake me hahah

Beacuse they want you to get sick of complaining and just go away and/or sell the car so they don't have to pay up and fix it. Drag them kicking and screaming in the end you will win. Simple fix is get it emmission tested and if it's burning oil it may well fail it's exhaust emmission test hence un roadworthy hence the engine needs to be fixed by them. This is exactly what a friend did with a VR oil burner and he got the engine rebuilt at no cost.

OK so I have now done 1200k's with the full synth Castrol edge 5W30, no drop in oil levels, Hmmm, still early days, but I am hoping it will be all good.

OK so after 5500k's on the 5W30 full synth have used 500mls.
I can live with that.
