2013 VE Factory LPG Only. LWR Engine. PO304 and PO300 Codes. Stability Control turns off and rough idle.

A question.... Where is the EGR valve on the factory lpg LWR engine and where does it feed back into the intake side ? Near Cylinder 4 ?

I don’t believe the VE V6 petrol engine has an EGR valve. The LPG supposedly produces less bad stuff within the exhaust, so I doubt they’d have added one for that use case…

Can Tech2 laptop software allow you to adjust the idle rpm up a bit ? I'm interested to see if that will actually stop the misfire happening and turning off the stabilty control which then makes it run really rough.

Start with a compression and cylinder leak down test, that will tell you what each cylinders 'health' is.

What are good compression readings ? Will the compression test show up a burnt valve ? Or a leak down test is better ?
