Hello everyone, it's finally time for my car to be serviced in another month and half , just wondering is the 224000 service a major one , as my car didn't come with a log book ,so it's highly likely not log book service ,as I'm trying work out what service to get ?

Thanks

Might as well get a service 'with the lot' if you have no service history.
Then you know everything's been done.

I've got a receipt from the previous service that was done previously when I purchased the car but it doesn't have a log book so I've got no idea what to do but I've got to go feeling I'm going to have to do a major service I've got no clue what of items I'm going to have to replace I just hope it's a minimal.

And also I'm not looking forward to after it's completed:eek:

Get all of the major bits inspected.
Change plugs(if not changed at the last service), air filter, oil, coolant, brake fluid, diff oil and an auto trans service.

This way you start with a 'clean sheet'.

I definitely will be doing all that, I just need to find out the best place to get it done apart from Holden dealership service which I'll be staying a while away from because it's going to be way too expensive.

As said, do the lot so you start with a clean sheet.

Do some simple checks and you'll be able to answer your question. What is worn out or needs changing?
Can you pull the air filter out and have a look? Is it sparkling clean or looks 15 years old..
