Looking forward to it! Very keen to get something to work.
I think the main problems would be the rear plug on the manifold (mine has no play what-so-ever with the 12mm spacers), and maybe the clearance for the top left short bolt near the firewall. Is it possible to buy (/or make) and extension for the rear plug?

Or just unbolt the wiring harness at the back to make more slack.

What richardpalinkas has suggested could work, I haven't tried it myself though

Yeah i was thinking about unbolting the wiring harness, just a matter of seeing if its possible to get all the bolts in. Not keen enough to buy them and then it doesn't work...

Well the bolts go in easy enough on the 175kw engine so it will be the same.

I thought the engines and manifolds were slightly different?

I think internally different on the vz. Externally I thought they were the same, except the plug at the back for variable intake. I could be wrong.
