OK just an update.......
After inspecting the MAP sensor and the plug again, I found it was a tad dirty.
So, after a small dose of carby cleaner and a tooth brush, they both came up sparkling
and all's good.
The timing was already set @ 10 degrees BTDC so all's good there too.
So I suppose after all that.....all's good.
Thank you to every one who responded and gave me their input.
